Affiliate Marketing offers a way to market that can have you on your way to financial freedom in a matter of days. You don't have to invest a great deal of money with this plan. In fact, you can start out without any investment.
The first step of this plan is accomplished without a product or website of your own. This is accomplished through affiliate marketing. There are literally thousands of web owners willing to give up a percentage of the sale price of the product or service they provide to those who will market for them and drive traffic to their website. Each time the site makes a sale using the link you provide, you are given a percentage of that sale. This can be as much as 75% of the asking price, sending you on your way to financial freedom.
When you have chosen an affiliate site to endorse, it is time to advertise. You will write an interesting article about this product or service. This article will have the perfect title to catch the attention of the consumer and the top search engines.
You will submit these articles to special sites that will get you listed on google's front page 90% of the time. This means you will be one of the first links seen by anyone looking for the product or service you are endorsing. There is a great chance the consumer will click the link you have placed in your article. If a sale occurs from this action, you will receive a commission sending you on your way to financial freedom.
You may become affiliated with many sites, you set the limit. Affiliate marketing also allows you to be on your way to making $100 a day and truly be on your way to financial freedom.

When I first got started online, one of the things I became heavily involved in was affiliate marketing. Now it only occupies about 5% of my sales volume, but it was a great training ground for me. I was able to use other people’s sales pages and my traffic and create tracking stats. And since I am a numbers person, that was extremely effective for me.
Another big thing for me was that these affiliate products already have sales pages (boy, my first sales page was a disaster), they have been tested to convert, and you don’t have to do any of the backend work like customer service and deal with PayPal or credit cards. So it was really easy for me to get started with. Now, I didn’t make the money I do now, but again, it was a great training exercise.
One thing I decided to do was to test several different affiliate programs, sending them all traffic, and seeing which ones converted and sold and then paid me. And I am making money with affiliate programs. Case closed. And that is pretty much how I made my decisions.
So how do I do it, step by step?
1) I set up a website that offers a free ebook (which is loaded with affiliate links) and an Ecourse that is mailed everyday. On the web site I put a web form that collects the visitors name and email address and sends it to my autoresponder (step 2). This is one of the most important things – you have to have your own web site and your own email campaign – do not just send traffic to affiliate pages.
2) I set up an autoresponder and wrote a series of letters that teaches people how to make money online–in plain English, and simply, easy-to-follow steps. One of the things I did with this was set it up so that I could track the open rate and the click through rate of my emails – using aweber.com.
3) In the letters I recommend a series of products that will help them learn the skills to become successful online. It is important that people trust you at this point; that way they are prequalified before they get to the affiliate sales page.
4) When my subscribers purchase products from my ebook or my series of Ecourse lessons, I receive a commission. Of course that is the best part!
5) I write articles just like this one, post them on sites just like the one you are reading this from, and watch the traffic come in. This is how I get the bulk of my traffic.
That is about all there is to it. Now, this may seem much simpler than it really is, if you have tried it before. But I also think that sometimes people make things more difficult than they really need to be.

Goals Are Necessary
Anything you do in life you need to achieve goals. It doesn’t matter if you want to be a meat cutter, long distance runner, taxidermist or anything in life. It doesn’t matter if you work for another company or work for yourself you still have to have goals that you need to set and goals that you need to achieve in work and in real life. I personally focus on internet endeavors but most of these goals can be used on anything you do in life. I will in the next few weeks be submitting articles on many different goals that you should strive to achieve.
Understand Your Potential
In order to succeed at anything you want to do it is important to realize your potential and what you can do. For instance if you want to be a writer but you have absolutely no writing ability then its not likely you will make a career out of writing. However if you have been walleye fishing in the rivers around home, have an entire arsenal of secrets and your ambition is to be a professional fisherman than this is probably achievable.
Never Regret The Past
Were all going to have a past and there all going to have failures and mistakes. It’s important not to dwell on these but rather learn from them to help achieve your goals. As in my affiliate marketing internet career I learnt a lot of hard lessons but I also learnt to take these mistakes and make my business better because of them.
Allow Yourself to Dream
You need to always be honest with yourself about what you want to achieve from your goals. You have to allow yourself to think big and dream even bigger. You always understand the achievability of this but it helps push your business forward.
Have a Plan for Your Business
You need to have a plan at the beginning to get your business going. You have to understand the markets, how you’re going to promote, who needs your product and decide if this is even worth doing.
Never Give Up
As in my affiliate marketing career I gave up hundreds of time over eight years before I realized that I wasn’t giving my program enough time. So if you business isn’t a success overnight just keep doing the right things and I guarantee you will start seeing results. It can become challenging at times but I never once said that this was going to be a cake walk.
